Rwanda

This morning, i don’t have any idea in which island this charming sister come from. Then, with a green baju kurung and a ribbon at her hands, she is just like a lecturer who giving a taught to her student.

For this topic, issue HINDRAF (Hindu Rights Action Force) which happened about several weeks ago was mentioned to create an analogy between two tribes, Tutsi and Hutu.
Their (HINDRAF) ridiculous and absurd claim towards British government until they commit illegal assembly along the road in KL was undergone ISA (Internal Security Act) pertaining the detention of their role players.

HINDRAF, who was fanatic and extreme group of Indian society, had admitted that Malaysia government was promulgating "genocide" towards Indian people.

Then, Indian government was seems as to scratch Malaysia's sovereignty when they get interrupt into this issue. Well, to who concerned, MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS.

Back to Rwanda

Before I forget, this topic is seems like open a new a chapter because most of my brothers and sisters were not familiar with Rwanda. Their land can be said as fertile land because they have a valuable resource like golds, diamonds etc. However, their incomes are like below the poverty line. Astaghfirullah al-azim...Then i'm just conscious after mdm Shafizan reminded us about concept of Western block when they colonialized almost part of the world, DIVIDE & CONQUER. It still born in my mind, when I was in secondary school, my ustaz had said that the practice of celebrate of birthday was applied from that concept. For example, 1) they will sing the song first; 2) they will blow the candle as a symbol to blow the Nur of Islam, 3) they will cut the cake into a pieces (British took Tanah Melayu, Spain took Phillipine, Holland took Indonesia and etc)

When my dear Qistina show the picture of President of Rwanda, I almost get shock. “Ya Allah, sebijik macam Sudin” (very similar with Sudin). I told madam Shafizan, “madam, his picture remind me about my teammate, Saifuldin (Sudin is his nickname) when I was in Wataniah Skills. Luckily he was not Communication student. If not, he will shoot me..hahaha (Sean Dexter)

Benazir Bhutto Assasination

Today is the gloomiest day for the supporters of the pakistani opposition party leader Benazir Bhutto who died in a suicide attacked at an election rally in Rawalpindi. Many pakistani grief over the loss of their great leader who fought for the demoncracry and reconciliation of her country. Many countries condemned the cowardice act of the suicide bomber. However,it clearly show the suicide bomber was not happy for the Benazir Bhutto to be one of the candidate in the up-coming election. Furthermore, Benazir Bhutto seemed to be having a greater chance of winning the election and becoming the President of the Pakistani for the third time due to her popularity among the pakistani nation.Lets ponder about what happened here?In this kind of scenario it proves some people believe violence are the only way to get things done or our voices heard by the people. What other ways could we get our voices heard? Because believe it or not only people who have power or authority are able to get their voices heard in most countries. So,what happened to laymen like us? Should we just sit and listen to the authority and follow their orders? or Should we do something about it?if so, what do we suppose to do in order to avoid violence act and endangering the life of others?

way to go iera!

first and for most i'd like to congratulate iera for her calm and unique presentation. although, the information that was delivered by iera was too lenghty but she managed to make it interesting. I think next time iera u have to keep information short and concise for the audiences to keep track with what u are presenting but I think overall presentation you did was ok.
Since, all of you know a little or more information about the political situation in Kashmir after iera's preentation, let me add in some interesting facts about Kashmir.

I leave my team

Soon, no more tight uniform, colourful belt and almost high heel shoes that will complete my wednesday. Why? Because i already leave Wataniah Skills for my co-curricular subject. I have my reasons to do so. As we know, when someone involved in uniform unit, their freedom and privacy as well as life will be limitized. After i've being a "civilian", i feel so happy and no need to worry about exessive presurre and wasting time. I get nothing with Wataniah. Only pressure.

And not more than that, i almost feel hatred its environment..

AFGHANISTAN

When the word "Afghanistan" is mentioned. The first things that come to my mind is Osama bin laden and the taliban. Is it the same with you guys? I think it was good that we had a presenter from our class who gave us an insightful information about Afghanistan. It is interesting to know that Afghanistan is bordered by Pakistan in the south, east whereas iran in the west and Turkemistan ,Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the north and China is on the far northeast.Afghnaistan had gone through many riotous tragedies within its country in the past.It faced brutal civil war in the late 1970s due to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. During this time, President of United Stated ,Jimmy Carter funded and trained anti-government Mujahidden known as Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) and apparently Osama bin laden was one of the ISI agents. ISI was supportted by the US to fight the Soviet Union. After the fall President Najibullah regime due to the fight he had with the Russian, many elites and intellectual in Afghanistan ran away to take refuge abroad. After that Taliban, politico religous party was rulling most the Afghanistan states from 1994 until 2001. Taliban imposed strict Islamic law and throughtout 7 years of their rulling many Afghans faced restriction on their freedom and human rights. Women were banned from going to work and girls were not allow to go to school. However, this all ended after September 11 because US assumed the attacked on the World Trade Centre was committed by Osama bin Laden and US troops flew to Afghanistant on the quest to capture Mr.Bin Laden. Unfortunately,US failed on their mission but instead help set up new government for Afghanistan and helped Hamid Kazai to become the current president. So, do you guys think the current government is better than Taliban? Well, personally I think current government is doing their best to develop a better Afghanistan especially with the help of the US but I dont like the fact President Hamid Kazai spent most of his lives abroad before returning to Afghanistan and being elected as the current President because I believe the people who should be elected as presidents are those people who stayed in Afghanistan during the Taliban rullings and struggled to fight for their rights. I strongly believe these people would know more what to do with their countries because they have stayed there throughout the toughest times.Anyway, I may have added more information than what has been presented in class just in case you guys are curious to know more . I think overall presentation in class was good but there are always rooms for improvements. I think the Sister who presented did do her researcher about Afghanistan but she was lacking when it comes to answering session .Here's my advice,I think it is good to prediction what questions that our classmates or lecturers would be asking after the presentation, thus we could be answering the questions smoothly without so much hassle. Good luck for the next presenters.

3RD - SUDAN

Bro. Lutfi impress me.. I didnt know which part that i should giva a comment because the way he deliver his presentation is quite excellence. But let me share with all of you the moment that i got from my trainer when i'm joining military training. One of my trainer, Sergeant Karim and Sergeant Suhaimee was involved during "Black Hawk Down" tragedy and at that time, they were private. As we know, media fromm Western will try to manipulate people around the world in order to create more negative propaganda against Islam. It reminds me when i was taking COMM 1010 with Assoc.Prof.Dr Firdaus Azzam. She was mentioned that who ever control the media, they got a power. In addition, media is one of suitable, powerful tool to strike your enemy without using anykind of firearms (psychological war). Handed by Dexter

Unfortunately, the posts that we have published from the start are missing, and untill now I still figure out what happened with all of the posts...
I will try my best to get all the posts back before it's too late...
A few minutes ago I've tried to re-publish all posts, but still, some of them cannot be re-published...
and with regards of this situation, I do apologize for what I did wrong to all of you for any inconveniences caused...ThankU...

The Beauty of a Language,,,

hi there everyone...!!!
don't you guys remember our previous class on Wednesday.,,when we went back to our "kindergarten" moment..well, actually we've learnt about the importance of a language, am I right??? I supposed all of you have your own opinion on what the language is mean for you... As for myself, language is the medium of an interaction that we use while communicating with other people and I believe it is also through language a relationship might took place... So,, what's language means to you???
Basically, we've learnt about what so called "homonym", "homophones", and "heteronym". For our own understanding, let's explore the definition of the three concepts first.First and foremost, the word "homonym" means one of a group of words that share the same spelling or pronunciation (or both) but have different meanings. In comparison to that, "homophones" is a word that is pronounced the same as another word but differs in meaning. The words may be spelled the same, such as rose (flower) and rose (past tense of "rise"), or differently, such as carat, caret, and carrot, or two and too. In linguistics, "heteronym" refer to as two words with identical spellings but different meanings and pronunciations.

IRAQ

This is first topic that presented by my senior and what i adore about her are:
1) Her voice projection. She is able to optimize her voice according to situation (class size and numbers of student). Honestly, some of my classmates and lectures sometimes shout in the class and may shocked others and luckily, i never met anyone faint in the class.
2) Her grooming. Just simple and not over accessorized..
3) I hope i will learn from her.

Palestine

Kak Elya was given a responsible to present the topic about Palestine. When i saw the picture, my mind was think, "jahat gak askar Israel nih..."(Israel's soldier are bad). I'm thinking the cartoon that illustrate two boys at the same time. A Jewish boy could sleep without worry but A Muslim boy, only Allah's know...As I remember to kulliyyah given my ustaz, Jewish will be eliminated after Prophet Isa a.s or Imam Mahdi (if i'm not mistaken) come down to an earth. The way kak elya present was slow and she keep reading her text and less eye contact to audience. I would suggest for myself to giving my presentation like a daddy or mummy reading a storybook to their children before they "mapping" their pillow and bedsheet...by Dexter =)
